Dr. Eugene van Niekerk — Richmond Chiropractor

Dr. Eugene van Niekerk is a Co-Owner and Principal Chiropractor at Broadmoor Chiropractic Massage Naturopathy, focusing on providing specific, neurologically informed manual chiropractic care for individuals and families of all ages.

Dr. Eugene’s chiropractic career has taken him across New Zealand, the Cook Islands, Australia, and Canada. After practicing internationally, he has been proudly serving patients in Canada since 2019, where he is registered and licensed as a chiropractor. He is also a member of the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association (ICPA) and is trained in Gonstead, Diversified, Activator, and Webster Techniques.

For Dr. Eugene, chiropractic care is about more than the adjustment. It’s about connecting with people, building meaningful relationships, and being part of the positive changes they experience along the way.

Dr Eugene's Story

I was born in South Africa and moved to New Zealand as a teenager. I graduated from the New Zealand College of Chiropractic (NZCC) and began my professional journey as an NZCC intern, providing chiropractic care from 2016–2017.

My career has since taken me around the world. These experiences have shaped my approach to care and deepened my appreciation for the diverse, multicultural community of Richmond and the Lower Mainland, which I am proud to now call home.

I continue to pursue postgraduate education in areas including chiropractic technique, chiropractic neuroscience, diagnostic imaging, and current evidence-informed chiropractic care. My goal is to provide care with integrity and specificity while supporting people in their health and wellbeing.

Outside the office, I enjoy playing golf and running with my kids. And something you may not know about me? My first language is Afrikaans.
