OUR TEAM

Dr Eugene van Niekerk

CO-OWNER + CHIROPRACTOR

I was born in South Africa, moved to New Zealand when I was a teenager, and am now a Canadian Resident so I really appreciate the multicultural community of Richmond and the Lower Mainland. During my professional life it’s been a privilege to have served chiropractic care in New Zealand, the Cook Islands, Australia and Canada. From what I’ve experienced throughout, I’m excited that there is a possibility: the world connected and excelling in health and wellbeing.

I provide the most current, neurologically evidence-informed, specific chiropractic care with integrity, to connect people to their inner-power and greatest version of themself. It is my mission to serve the best chiropractic care that enhances and connects inspired people and families.

I deliver manual chiropractic care from specific techniques that are founded on tensegrity and tone. These include Gonstead and Diversified techniques. I am also trained in Activator and Webster Techniques, which many pregnant families utilize. I am a Member of the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association, and I provide care for babies and kids as well as all family members. Ready to get started? Looking forward to meeting you!

Favourite thing about our office:

“Being part of the change that people experience from when they walk in for their appointment to when they leave. Lots of smiles.”

Favourite thing to do when I'm not working:

“Play golf, and run with my son.”

Something you may not know about me:

Dr Bronwyn Hunt

CO-OWNER + CHIROPRACTOR

I have been fortunate to provide chiropractic care throughout British Columbia, as well as in New Zealand, the Cook Islands, Haiti and the Dominican Republic. Everywhere I’ve practiced I am in awe of universal intelligence, tensegrity and innate power, and so it's an absolute honour to help people adjust and shift into a higher level of health and happiness.

I serve tonal (light touch and hold), manual and/or instrument-assisted chiropractic care to suit the individual. I have a passion for working with pregnant families and little ones, and am trained in Webster Technique, which many pregnant families utilize.

Techniques and care also provided include Bio-Geometric Integration (BGI), Gonstead and Diversified, Activator Technique (force application or protocol), with consideration of Sacro-Occipital Technique (SOT), Torque Release Technique (TRT), Thompson Technique and Upper Cervical Specific Techniques.

One of my highest values is education. My post-secondary education includes degrees from the University of British Columbia and the New Zealand College of Chiropractic. I have post-grad certification in Sports Chiropractic from the International Federation of Sports Chiropractic and I am currently enrolled in and completing my Perinatal Certification from the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association. I am a registered chiropractor in Canada and New Zealand after completing national board exams in both countries.

I am a Director of the Chiropractic Cancer Foundation for Children, a Member of the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association, and past Interim Chair of the International Federation of Sports Chiropractic Student Commission.

I’m grateful for the opportunities and excited for the possibilities. Looking forward to seeing you soon.

Dr Dana Koren

CHIROPRACTOR

Dr. Dana Koren always knew that she wanted to help people. Her first interest and awareness of the power of chiropractic started early, when hearing about positive results from her Aunt who is a chiropractor overseas. Through personal experience Dr. Dana saw and continues to see how much chiropractic benefits people’s lives, and ultimately how it can assist them to fulfill their optimal potential. She immigrated to Steveston as a teenager and feels blessed and honored to now be able to serve and give back to the community that helped shape her.

Your personalised wellness, prevention, and individual health goals are important and will be Dr. Dana's respected focus. To achieve this, she will support you by utilizing a range of techniques that respect your presentation and preference, and in conjunction, she will comanage and encourage you to exercise and practice healthy eating for overall wellness. Furthermore, while she loves to provide care for all ages, Dr. Dana’s wish is that every newborn and pregnant family has the opportunity to experience the benefits of chiropractic care from early on.

Dr. Dana earned her Doctor Of Chiropractic from Life Chiropractic College West in the Bay area, California and graduated with clinic and academic honors as class Salutatorian. Her previous education also includes a Bachelors of Arts with a Psychology Major and Counseling Minor from Kwantlen Polytechnic University.
